1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the 360 Next-Gen App, a Multi-Sport Platform operated by Mets Trading (Pty) Ltd t/a 360 Next-Gen ("we", "us", "our").

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account details — your email address and display name when you register, or the profile (name, email, profile photo) shared by Google when you sign in with Google.
Profile information — your display name and avatar image, and, for creators, a handle, bio and avatar.
Content you create — posts (text, photos and videos), comments, reactions, follows, and any media you upload.

Information collected automatically

Usage & device data — app interactions, device type, operating system and similar diagnostics, via Google Analytics for Firebase.
Crash data — diagnostic reports when the app crashes, via Firebase Crashlytics.
Push tokens — a notification token and topic subscriptions (e.g. your sport, creators you follow) so we can send live-match and go-live alerts, via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

3. How we use your information

We use information to:

operate the platform;
enable content upload and distribution;
manage verified user accounts;
facilitate sports media coverage and broadcasting;
improve platform functionality and user experience;
support content discovery and engagement.

4. Content & media consent (360 model)

By using the platform and uploading content, you consent to:

the capture, use, and distribution of your content;
use of your image, voice, and likeness where applicable;
distribution across digital platforms and marketing channels.

This includes distribution via YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

5. Information sharing

We may share limited information with:

verified sports organisations and partners;
technical service providers — including Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics), which processes data on our behalf (see Google's Privacy and Security in Firebase);
production and broadcasting partners (where applicable).

We do not sell personal information.

6. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect user data. However, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children & youth participation

The platform may include youth sports content. Responsibility for consent lies with:

schools;
clubs;
unions;
guardians or authorised representatives.

8. Cookies & analytics

We may use cookies and analytics tools to:

improve platform performance;
understand user behaviour;
enhance content delivery.

9. Your rights (POPIA)

You may:

request access to your personal data;
request correction or deletion (where legally permitted);
withdraw consent where applicable.

You can delete individual posts in the app at any time, and delete your account either in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. For any other request, contact us at marcw.csd@gmail.com and we will process it.

10. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves. Continued use indicates acceptance. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
